Another Christmas Card

I absolutely LOVE this card!! This card uses another favored stamp set "Greeting Card Kids" which not only includes this adorable little girl in a Christmas stamp but also includes her in a Halloween stamp, a Valentines Day stamp and a going back to school stamp w/a little boy. Stamp set is very versatile. Hope you like this Christmas card also!!!

Christmas Card I Made

Today I made this Christmas Card using 2 of my most favorite stamps. The background stamp is "Lovely As A Tree" stamped in Crumb Cake and "Dasher" stamped in Early Espresso. It's a very simple card to make when you're in a hurry and I think it looks rather elegant. Hope you agree!!

Baking With The Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps

About a week ago I had both of my grandchildren spend the night with me and we decided that we wanted to bake cookies! We decided to make pumpkin spiced sugar cookies...now that they're a little older it was alot more fun. This year my granddaughter Katie actually wanted to wear her apron (last year she refused!)...

They each got a turn to stir the cookie mix. Baking cookies with them was so much fun because they were so excited that they got to stand on a chair and actually experience baking. I popped them in the oven for approximately 15 minutes...meanwhile Hunter decided to get goofy on us....

In Hunters being silly picture you can see the "New" Stampin Up! cookie press that we are now selling. What it does is after the cookies are baked you can press a design on each individual cookie! We chose the snowflake press for this baking session (which I think we'll use throughout December...Santa will LOVE the design on his cookies!!!)....Here's the finished cookie....

The children LOVED eating the cookies that "they" made. They cannot wait to bake more cookies with grandma (and neither can I!!)  You can order the cookie press on my Stampin Up! website @ http://www.stampinwithdianeh.stampinup.net/.

Pumpkin Patch Visit

Today I took 2 of my 4 grandchildren to the Pumpkin Patch...i know...I wait until the last minute. Of course, they wanted to wear their costumes. My granddaughter Katie has never been to the Pumpkin Patch before. Hunter went with his preschool a couple weeks ago. Today I would've purchased ANY pumpkin they wanted...I didn't care if they had chosen the largest most expensive pumpkin there. They chose "big" little pumpkins so they could carry them themselves. They are so sweet and 2 of the most precious children around. I wish I could've taken the other 2 with me but we brought Jordan (who's 8 weeks old) home a tiny pumpkin

This is Bryce my 8 1/2 year old grandson carving the pumpkin I bought him a couple weeks ago with some friends. It looks like he's having alot of fun w/his friends.

Everyone have a happy & safe Halloween tomorrow!!!

Almost Holiday Time...

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I know I did. This card that I made this weekend was created by Lorita Koehn another Stampin Up! Demonstrater that I met at the Atwater Fall Festival. I loved her work so I decided to check out her class. This card was super easy (except I hate cutting & therefore the cutting doesnt look that good...lol) and the colors are gorgeous together. I have another card that I made that I will post tomorrow!!

My Birthday Cruise!!

Hello everyone!! It's been quite awhile since i've done any blogging. I have been very very busy with lots of things. Last week was my 50th Birthday!! On May 7th I had approximately 20 friends & family help me celebrate @ La Hacienda. We had a great time. It was really nice to just relax and talk with everyone.

On May 12th, my Aunt Gail & cousin Beth flew in from Albany NY to go on my birthday cruise to the Mexican Riviera with me.

I haven't seen my Aunt Gail in 8 years and I hadn't seen my cousin Beth in 29 years!! Can you believe that we allowed this to happen?!?!?! What is wrong with us???? Anyways, we've decided that we will not allow this to happen again. I had the time of my life and so thankful that they were able to attend the birthday cruise with me.

Also going on the cruise was my BFF Cheryl and she brought her friend Kathy to help me celebrate. We all had a wonderful time and hopefully we can go on another cruise soon...

From left to right is Kathy, Cheryl & me! This was the formal dinner we attended. My feet were KILLING ME!!!! lol. Here's a picture of the 5 of us as we were getting onto the ship.

Of course there was always the good looking men of Mexico there too...here's a couple pictures...

I will share more later....................
